I failed to mention in the tutorial that there is another place where chords have an exclamation point to indicate to strum only once and that is just before the ending - "I won't hestitate..."
Also, to end the song, we hold at the word YOURSSSSSSSS, until the leader cuts it off at 8 counts.  The D7 only gets one strum

We rocked the house and these Seniors were so happy with our songs.  Nothing better than making someone happy with your little ukulele.

Sugar House Art Walk Photos

Hi Strummers

Monument Plaza in Sugar House will never seem the same to me.  The quality of performance and energy from the Strummers to play for 1 hour and 45 minutes to a full house at times, was an experience I will never forget.  We had approximately 25 people that practiced, rehearsed and then poured their hearts into providing a great show!!!  Thank you to all that performed and to the many of you that supported us on the Plaza.  We felt your love.

Here's some photos for those of you not on Facebook or were not able to make it.    The entire group made me so proud - thankful for each one of you.
